Mission 3:10 and Health Council of Northwest Ohio (HCNO) Invite Northwest Ohio to Create a Ripple of Kindness Through Shared Abundance

New 30-day community campaign encourages individuals, families, and organizations to spread generosity, one small act at a time.

TOLEDO, Ohio — 10/20/2026 — What could happen if an entire community committed to doing one good thing every day?

Mission 3:10 and HCNO are inviting Northwest Ohio residents to find out through Shared Abundance, a new 30-day campaign designed to inspire generosity, strengthen community connections, and demonstrate the impact of everyday kindness.

Much like a do-good Advent calendar, Shared Abundance provides participants with a different activity each day, encouraging them to give, share, connect and support those around them. Activities are designed to be simple, flexible, and accessible, allowing individuals, families, churches, businesses, and other community organizations to participate in ways that work for them.

"Abundance isn't just about what we have. It's about what we share," said Hayley Studer, President of Mission 3:10 and HCNO. "Shared Abundance is an opportunity to remind ourselves that we all have something to offer, whether that's our time, our resources, or simply an act of kindness. When those small actions come together, they have the potential to create something much bigger."

Inspired by Malachi 3:10, Mission 3:10 works to bridge need and opportunity throughout Northwest Ohio, bringing people and organizations together to strengthen communities through an abundance mindset.

Through Shared Abundance, participants will receive daily activities and encouragement via email, inspiring simple acts of generosity while building awareness of the needs, opportunities, and meaningful work already taking place across Northwest Ohio. By bringing individuals, businesses, churches, and community organizations together, the campaign aims to strengthen connections, bridge gaps, and build upon existing efforts to create a more connected and supportive region.

How to Participate

Community members can register online for $10 to join the 30-day experience and receive daily acts of kindness and inspiration right in their email. Organizations interested in participating or supporting the campaign can also find information online.
